Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cranium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Cranium, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Glover throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cranium.
Glover throws a series of punches but Cranium avoids them all with ease.
Cranium tries to move into range but Glover moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Glover fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cranium on the side of the head.

Glover escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A solid leg kick lands there for Glover.
Cranium fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Glover avoids it really well and circles away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Glover, right into the meat.

Glover uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The fighters circle momentarily. Glover darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Cranium fails with the takedown
and Glover counters with a nice body shot.
Troy Glover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Cranium.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A jab lands there for Glover.
Glover throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cranium's head.
Glover darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cranium shoots in looking for a takedown. Glover tries to sprawl out of it but Cranium keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Glover manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cranium moves forwards but Glover connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Cranium walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Glover connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Cranium is trying desperately to land a takedown but Glover is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cranium.
Glover scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cranium shoots in but Glover avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Glover postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cranium looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Glover unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Cranium wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Glover celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
