The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numa slips a jab from Nitschke.
Numa misses with a head kick.
Nitschke scores with a jab to the body.
Numa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Numa looks to land a combination but Nitschke avoids it well.
Numa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Numa misses with a takedown attempt - Nitschke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Numa connects with an inside leg kick.
Numa wants to land a leg kick but Nitschke is out of range.
Nitschke throws the left hand but Numa avoids the punch easily.
Keiji Numa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Numa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nitschke.
Nitschke throws a hook to the side of Numa's head but Numa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Numa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Numa scores with a kick to the midsection.

Numa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nitschke scores with a sloppy right hand. Numa should have avoided that one.

Nitschke blocks a low kick nicely.

Nitschke is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nitschke misses with a takedown attempt - Numa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nitschke cracks Numa with a hook to the temple - Numa is on wobbly legs here! Nitschke swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Numa falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Nitschke wins by TKO!
