Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Top Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darnell Klutie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Top Dog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darnell Klutie!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klutie has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dog.

Klutie instigates a clinch.
Klutie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dog avoids a wild elbow strike from Klutie.

Klutie misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dog.

Klutie tries to land knees in the clinch but Dog avoids the damage to the body.

Dog manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Dog is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Klutie is controlling him.

Dog looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Dog throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Dog is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Dog not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Dog is looking to take a break and control but Klutie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dog is looking for a kimura but Klutie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dog to get the leverage.

Dog is keen to just control but Klutie is a slippery customer.
Dog throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dog is trying to control the action in half guard but Klutie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Klutie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dog swivels and escapes.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Dog throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Klutie swings for the body but Dog moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Dog.
Top Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dog scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dog smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A combination from Dog does no damage.
Klutie throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dog's head.

Klutie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dog on his heels. He'll look to pass Dog's guard now, I'm sure.

Klutie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dog has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klutie has managed to get both his arms back between Dog's legs - danger averted.

Dog has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dog throws the kick towards the body but Klutie avoids it.
Klutie tries to clinch but Dog is having none of it.

Dog tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Klutie counters with a flying knee. Nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Top Dog will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Klutie moves in looking to clinch but Dog pushes him off.
Klutie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dog swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Top Dog is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dog throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Top Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darnell Klutie.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I think Dog has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
