PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhogo Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes into the arena with Scary blaring out of the sound system. Ko has chosen DJ Khaled - All I do is win as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jhogo Ko enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gomi is trying to stand up here but Ko is controlling him well.
Gomi manages to get to full guard.

Gomi is looking for a triangle but Ko pushes his legs off easily.
Gomi thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Ko throws a big right hand that misses.
Ko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gomi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gomi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Gomi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ko!

Ko takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Gomi lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gomi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Gomi! Ko is out cold! This one is all over!
