Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jie Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Reinhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reinhardt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Liu walks forward, straight into a front kick from Reinhardt.
Liu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Reinhardt.
Reinhardt throws a lazy right hand but Liu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Liu tries to close the distance and clinch but Reinhardt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reinhardt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Liu is able to avoid easily.
Reinhardt lands an overhand right.
Reinhardt avoids the body shot from Liu.

Liu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reinhardt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Horrible takedown by Reinhardt or perhaps it was just good defense by Liu which made him look bad.
