Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salath Sar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kido Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salath Sar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kido Moon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Salath Sar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kido Moon!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sar avoids the head kick by Moon.
Sar misses with a straight right.

Moon gets caught flat footed, as Sar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Sar drops his shoulder and cracks Moon with a huge uppercut! Moon goes down! Can Sar finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sar is looking to work some ground and pound but Moon has wrist control.
Moon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kido Moon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kido Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moon lands with a slapping head kick.
Moon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moon wants it to stay on the feet.
Moon pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Moon wants to improve his position but Sar is controlling well.
Sar wants to pass the guard but Moon is defending well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Salath Sar will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sar is defended easily by Moon.
Moon tries a head kick but it misses.
Moon throws a head kick but Sar moves out of range.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Moon in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Sar blocks a head kick by Moon.
Moon throws a sloppy head kick and Sar moves out of range easily.
Moon slaps away a takedown attempt from Sar, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sar misses the jab.
Sar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moon on the side of the head.
Salath Sar is winning the standup battle so far.

Sar moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Moon goes down! Can Sar finish him!?

Moon is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Moon's guard.

Sar is looking for a kimura here.
Moon seems to have recovered his senses.

Sar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moon defends it well.

Moon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Salath Sar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sar drops back looking for a leg! Moon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moon manages to kick Sar off! Sar jumps back into Moon's guard.

Well Sar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
