Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar slips a jab and a cross from Pucci.

Pucci throws a right and a left that Lesnar avoids nicely.

Lesnar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Pucci won't allow Lesnar to pass to mount.

Lesnar misses with a head shot. Pucci uses the momentum to regain guard.

Lesnar shoots for a takedown but Pucci saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Pucci sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lesnar misses with an uppercut. Pucci saw that one coming.
Pucci swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lesnar.
Hugh Pucci is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pucci keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pucci is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Pucci circles away and we're back to standing.

Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt - Pucci sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pucci moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pucci batters Lesnar with a massive right followed by a huge left! Lesnar is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Pucci lands a final crushing right hand to drop Lesnar to the mat with a gruesome thud! Pucci is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
