PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Korczewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihailescu Razvan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Razvan has chosen Niggas in Paris as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamil Korczewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mihailescu Razvan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razvan shoots in looking for a takedown. Korczewski tries to sprawl out of it but Razvan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Korczewski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch combination from Korczewski misses.
Razvan throws a wild body kick that Korczewski sees coming a mile off.
Kamil Korczewski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Razvan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Korczewski on his heels. He'll look to pass Korczewski's guard now, I'm sure.
Razvan stands and throws Korczewski's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Korczewski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee warns Korczewski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Razvan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Razvan is trying to pull guard but Korczewski turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Razvan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Razvan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Razvan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Korczewski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Razvan.

Razvan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Korczewski is just riding it out for now. Razvan eventually gives up the hold.

Korczewski tries to kick Razvan off in order to stand up. Razvan Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Korczewski wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Razvan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Korczewski down.

Mihailescu Razvan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Razvan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mihailescu Razvan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Razvan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Korczewski has hold of Razvan's hands but Razvan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Razvan wants to free his trapped foot but Korczewski is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Still in half guard, Razvan seems content to control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Razvan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
