Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spinner Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spinner Mason will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henderson scores with a takedown into Mason's guard.
Mason has momentary wrist control but Henderson slips an elbow through the middle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mason had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Henderson defends it easily.
Henderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mason is looking for a triangle but Henderson pushes his legs off easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Henderson is working Mason over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Mason is trying to control the position but Henderson postures up.

Mason is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mason tries to stand and escape but Henderson actually recovers to full guard.

Henderson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
