Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Rugova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aleksander Rugova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rugova as he jumps to the side.
Rugova misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Rugova fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice uppercut lands for Rugova. That snapped Lee's head back.

Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard.
Rugova wants to get back to his feet but Lee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rugova swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Rugova is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rugova is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lee is controlling him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rugova is trying to stand.
Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rugova's head.
Lee prevents Rugova from standing back up.
Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rugova does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rugova is looking to escape.
Rugova is breathing heavily.
Lee uses his free foot to push down on Rugova's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rugova.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee thowing shots but they're missing.

Rugova defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lee.
Rugova is bucking up trying to escape but Lee cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lee throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rugova because Lee loaded up on that one.
Lee pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Lee is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rugova has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rugova!
Lee looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rugova puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nice sprawl there from Rugova as Lee shoots in.
Rugova throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lee.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rugova.
Rugova looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Lee throws a series of punches but Rugova moves out of range.
Rugova throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lee controls Rugova momentarily but Rugova frees himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rugova decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get!

Rugova tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rugova loads up on a big right hand but Lee slips the punch.
Lee looks for a takedown but Rugova sprawls well.

Jordan Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lee scores with a one two! Rugova had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Rugova throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rugova paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rugova throws a good cross that connects.
Rugova blocks a head kick by Lee.
Rugova scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rugova sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lee takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
