Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vio Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gino Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gino Colon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Colon.
Colon tries to clinch

and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Colon's guard now.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Vio Jackson wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Jackson tries for a takedown but Colon circles away easily
and Colon counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Colon tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Colon fakes the leg kick and cracks Jackson in the body.
Colon thuds a left hand into Jackson's body.
Colon throws a head kick that half lands.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Colon won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ground and pound from Jackson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jackson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Jackson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Colon looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jackson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Colon is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jackson lets go of the hold and Colon can pop his arm back in it's socket.
