Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinjii Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shinjii Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sterling Archer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Archer.
Archer shoots in looking for a takedown but Nakamura manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Archer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nakamura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nakamura knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Archer on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sterling Archer wasn't active enough on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nakamura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Archer swivels and escapes.

Archer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Archer somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Shinjii Nakamura will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Archer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nakamura is just riding it out for now. Archer eventually gives up the hold.

Sterling Archer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nakamura is staying active underneath Archer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sterling Archer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Archer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
