PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigoro Tonal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Whoomp There it is. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonal throws a jab but it's blocked by Sackett.
Tonal blocks the body kick.
Tonal looks to land a right hand but Sackett moved out of range.
A lazy left from Tonal finds it's target.
Sackett takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tonal throws a hook to the side of Sackett's head but Sackett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orlando Sackett overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tonal bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sackett's guard.

Sackett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Orlando Sackett will probably get the nod.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
