Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Coogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Con Dumas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coogan tries to sprawl but Dumas drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Coogan is trying is best to control the position here.
Dumas is stalling here. Coogan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dumas seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Coogan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Coogan is trying to get an arm triangle but Dumas is defending well.
Dumas can't do much from the bottom here.
Dumas is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Coogan is staying active.

Coogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Coogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dumas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coogan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dumas tries to lock up and control but Coogan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dumas is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coogan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Dumas is trying desperately to improve position.
Dumas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
