The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sala scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sala lands a jab to the head.
Sala tries a low kick but Repetto avoids it.
Repetto stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sala misses with a hook. Repetto ducked under it nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Repetto. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Repetto.
Repetto moves out of range of the leg kick from Sala.
David Repetto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sala uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Repetto.
Donk. Sala catches Repetto right on the button with a cross.

Sala tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Repetto is able to avoid easily.

Repetto cracks Sala with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Repetto throws the left hand but Sala avoids the punch easily.
Sala feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Repetto's calf.
Sala moves away from the strike by Repetto.
Repetto feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Salas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sala swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Repetto.
It looks like David Repetto has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sala throws a head kick but Repetto moves out of range.
A left lands for Sala.
Repetto gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sala moves out of range of the strikes.

Repetto blocks a jab.
Sala forces Repetto back against the cage and clinches.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Repetto.
Sala is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Repetto is keeping busy.
Sala fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sala dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Sala throws a head punch that misses.
Repetto working hard to break the clinch.
Sala swings wildly with an uppercut but Repetto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sala cracks Repetto with a nice body shot.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sala.
Repetto manages to break the clinch.
Sala throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sala moves into the clinch successfully.
Repetto can't break the clinch.
Sala goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Repetto lands a nice uppercut.

Repetto blocking some punches.
Sala misses with a body punch.
Repetto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sala up against the cage.

Repetto tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sala's elbow.

Sala lands with a right to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sala misses with a punch on the inside.

Repetto tries for a takedown but Sala manages to get underhooks.
Repetto stalling in the clinch but Sala improves position.
Sala keeps control of Repetto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Repetto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sala throws a lazy right hand but Repetto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sala slips a jab from Repetto.
Repetto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sala.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mar Sala dominated that round.
The cut man is working on David Repetto's cut.
That's time! Repetto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Repetto lands a glancing blow to the side of Sala's head.
Repetto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sala lands a leg kick that knocks Repetto off balance momentarily.
Sala uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Repetto.
Sala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Repetto on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Repetto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A head kick lands from Sala that sends Repetto to the canvas. Repetto tries to scramble back to his feet but Sala brings him back down into side control.
Repetto is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sala controls the position from side control.
Oh Repetto is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sala has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Repetto!
Repetto seems to have got his legs back now.
Sala tries to control but Repetto wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sala is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sala lands a nice shot to the head.
Sala breaks from Repetto's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Sala is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Repetto to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Repetto shrugs it off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sala loads up with a big shot that hurts Repetto! He's pulled Sala in close but Sala has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Repetto survive? More strikes from Sala and Repetto is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
