Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between SixDollar Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Tankard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burger comes to the cage accompanied by Ghosts n' Stuff. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger slips a jab and a cross from Tankard.
Burger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tankard throws a shot from downtown. Burger moves away and avoids it.

The fighters circling - Tankard throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Tankard has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Burger uses from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burger is looking to work some ground and pound but Tankard has wrist control.
Burger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tankard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tankard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Burger gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Burger is pressing down on Tankard's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tankard has his foot on Burger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Burger works his way back into a safe position though.
