Slaughter is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Abdul Magomedov enters the cage!

Magomedov dives in and scores a takedown into Slaughter's guard.
Slaughter is breathing heavily.
Magomedov chips away with some ground and pound.
Slaughter has momentary wrist control but Magomedov slips an elbow through the middle.
Slaughter doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Magomedov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Magomedov breaks from Slaughter's wrist control and lands an elbow.
