Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Gatho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sensei's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy. Gatho comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 666 - Bomba! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatho cracks Sensei with an open hand slap.
Gatho connects with a single shot there.
Ben Gatho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gatho looks to land a left hand but Sensei moved out of range nicely.
Gatho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sensei.
Sensei misses with a body shot.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sensei enables Gatho to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sensei manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sensei is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Gatho is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sensei has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Sensei wants to control the pace but Gatho is squirming around nicely.

We're going to have a standup here because Sativa Sensei wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Gatho scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sensei in his tracks.
Sensei takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gatho bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gatho goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sensei rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gatho's guard! Nice work there by Sensei!

Gatho wants to stand and escape but Sensei is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gatho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sensei would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gatho on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Sensei wants to clinch up but Gatho keeps it at a distance.

and Sensei counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sensei. Gatho does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sensei throws a body punch but Gatho moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sensei checks a leg kick.

Sensei pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gatho is out of range and Sensei settles back down.

Sensei is looking to wear down Gatho with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sensei motions for Gatho to come forward. Sensei throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Gatho goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sensei takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sensei just misses with a punch to the body.

That kick from Gatho tenderised Sensei's leg. Sensei is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sensei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gatho to score with a decent uppercut.
Gatho throws a jab but it's blocked by Sensei.
Gatho scores with a head kick. Sensei tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Gatho takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sensei closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Sensei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gatho lands a jab to the head.
Gatho fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sensei walks into a stiff left hand from Gatho.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sensei feints a jab promting Gatho to slip. Sensei then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gatho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Sativa Sensei will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Gatho stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sensei.
Gatho dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gatho's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sensei connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gatho scrambles back to his feet.
Sensei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gatho moves away.

Gatho throws an overhand right that lands on Sensei's shoulder, as Sensei tries to avoid the shot.
Gatho throws a series of punches but Sensei avoids them all with ease.
Gatho's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
