Washington throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Bates to counter with a crisp jab.
Washington drops Bates with a beautiful combination! Bates stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Washington is looking for the KO!

It looks like Ken Bates has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
