PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kasem Muang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carver Cade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muang kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ding Lan. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muang looks for the body kick but Cade saw that one coming.
Cade ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muang moves away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cade lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Muang has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Muang and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cade misses with a low kick.
Cade throws a leg kick but Muang sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Cade looking to score a takedown here. Muang is defending well but Cade drives through and ends up in Muang's guard.

Cade shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muang but Muang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kasem Muang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carver Cade.
Cade lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Muang checks a leg kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carver Cade dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Muang pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A clash of legs there as Muang blocks the low kick.
Muang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cade throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Muang stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Muang counters with a head kick. That will keep Cade thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Muang keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Cade bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cade looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Muang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Cade postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Muang in real trouble here! The ref calls for Muang to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

During a confident post fight interview, Carver Cade thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
