The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch but Martinez moves away
and Martinez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Martinez.
Brown keeps control of Martinez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Martinez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Martinez swinging wildly here.
Brown closes the distance looking to clinch
and Martinez moves into the clinch.
Martinez breaks from the clinch.
Brown tries to clinch but Martinez moves out of range.

Brown doesn't manage to clinch there - Martinez circles away.
Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Martinez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brown darts in trying to clinch
and Martinez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Martinez wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Martinez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brown has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Martinez is looking to defend but Brown has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Martinez! Brown pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Martinez taps out and this one is all over!
