Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Moda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQueen is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Jerry McQueen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moda connects with a body shot.
McQueen is breathing heavily.
Moda shoots in for a takedown but McQueen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Moda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Moda wanted to stand there but McQueen had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McQueen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Moda would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

McQueen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Moda drops back looking for a leg! McQueen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McQueen manages to kick Moda off! Moda jumps back into McQueen's guard.

Moda wants to get up but he can't break McQueen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

McQueen tries to keep at a distance but Moda has taken the fight into the clinch.

Moda darts in and clinches McQueen up against the cage.
McQueen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moda.

Moda tries to close the distance and clinch but McQueen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Moda shoots in but McQueen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jerry McQueen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Moda.
Moda looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moda is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Moda is looking to advance position but McQueen won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Moda tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Bob Moda has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Moda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McQueen prevents Moda from getting back to his feet.

Bob Moda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Moda has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McQueen after a bit of a struggle.

McQueen postures up in Moda's guard and throws a big left but Moda blocks it.

McQueen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

McQueen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice takedown defense from McQueen. No joy for Moda on that attempt.

Bob Moda is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Bob Moda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
