Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Callaghan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuey Chuleta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Richard Callaghan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuey Chuleta!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaghan jabs Chuleta to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chuleta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Callaghan throws out the jab.

Callaghan tries to clinch up but Chuleta circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown by Chuleta or perhaps it was just good defense by Callaghan which made him look bad.
Callaghan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chuleta throws a hook to the side of Callaghan's head but Callaghan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Callaghan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chuleta stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chuleta might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Callaghan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chuleta looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Callaghan moves out of range as Chuleta throws a body kick.
That kick from Callaghan tenderised Chuleta's leg. Chuleta is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chuleta connects with a good right hand that stumbles Callaghan. Callaghan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Callaghan counters with a big head kick but Chuleta shrugs it off.
Callaghan lands a right hook to the body.
Callaghan throws a chopping leg kick but Chuleta manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Chuleta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Callaghan.
Callaghan throws a right hand that Chuleta ducks under and follows up with a left that Chuleta also avoids with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Callaghan tests Chuleta's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Callaghan.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuleta takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Callaghan will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
