Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Stuart Wray!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sibelius has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wray displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sibelius.
Sibelius avoids the head kick by Wray.
Sibelius moves out of range of the leg kick from Wray.
Wray scores with a kick to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sibelius is looking for a kimura but Wray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sibelius to get the leverage.

Sibelius not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sibelius has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jean Sibelius overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sibelius slips a nice elbow through Wray's hands, connecting with Wray's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sibelius is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wray is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
