The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ugh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ugh is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Ugh circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitor Silva . That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ugh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vitor Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Ugh.
Ugh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ugh wants it to stay on the feet.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Ugh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ugh leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Ugh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ugh moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Ugh tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ugh.
Ugh fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Ugh scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ugh! Silva is out on his feet! Ugh rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Silva is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Silva is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
