Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caio Vinicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brezzer Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Vinicius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinicius fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vinicius shoots in for a takedown but Pereira shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Vinicius has closed the distance and engaged Pereira in a clinch.

Pereira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pereira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vinicius swivels and escapes.
Pereira misses with a takedown attempt - Vinicius sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pereira shoots in but Vinicius avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Caio Vinicius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brezzer Pereira.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pereira tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vinicius just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pereira lands an elbow inside.

Pereira jumps guard and drags Vinicius to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vinicius content to stall in guard here.
Pereira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vinicius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vinicius gets to his feet - Pereira follows without any prompting.
Pereira misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pereira slaps away a takedown attempt from Vinicius, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Vinicius gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pereira wants to control from the top but Vinicius keeps moving.

Pereira postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Vinicius is looking to stand up but Pereira isn't so interested in that idea.
Pereira postures up in Vinicius's guard and throws a big left but Vinicius blocks it.
Pereira wants to control from the top but Vinicius keeps moving.
Pereira must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brezzer Pereira was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Vinicius avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pereira swats away the attempt to clinch by Vinicius.

Pereira throws a right and a left that Vinicius avoids nicely.

Vinicius looking to score a takedown here. Pereira is defending well but Vinicius drives through and ends up in Pereira's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pereira wants to sweep but no luck.
Vinicius trying to control but Pereira is working from the bottom.
Vinicius is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pereira is trying to control the position but Vinicius postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Caio Vinicius just wasn't active enough.
Vinicius shoots in and drives through. Pereira sprawls well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pereira. That's going to slow Vinicius down.
Pereira fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pereira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vinicius manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vinicius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pereira sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vinicius will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pereira darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Pereira closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Vinicius is trying to pull guard but Pereira turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pereira cracks Vinicius with a nice body shot.
Vinicius is breathing heavily.

Pereira jumps guard.
Pereira wants to stand but Vinicius is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brezzer Pereira dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Nice sprawl there from Pereira as Vinicius shoots in.
Pereira lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vinicius backs up against the cage.
Pereira misses with a head kick.
Vinicius is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pereira shoots for a takedown but Vinicius saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pereira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vinicius's waist but Vinicius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pereira off to one side.

Vinicius bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pereira tries to control but Vinicius manages to take his back.
Vinicius scores with punches to the body.
Pereira is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Vinicius off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Vinicius. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Vinicius is persistently looking for the submission but Pereira is defending it well.

Pereira defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Vinicius's arms.

Vinicius keeps control of the position as Pereira tries to break free.

Pereira is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Vinicius is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Pereira won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Vinicius off his unconscious opponent!
