These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCready scores with a decent looking hook.
McCready throws a body punch but Kruty moves out of range.
McCready gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Declan McCready seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCready shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kruty lands a nice leg kick that just misses McCready's sensitive parts.

Kruty throws a low kick, looking for McCready's leg but McCready calmly moves out of range.
McCready comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

McCready chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kruty can pounce on him.

Kruty throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McCready stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A head kick misses from McCready.
McCready tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kruty swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed right hand from Kruty misses the target.
McCready bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kruty looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Kruty counters with a nice body shot.
McCready is breathing heavily.

McCready misses with a series of wild punches.

Kruty connects with a body shot that sends McCready's belly button to the back.
Kruty fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McCready has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kruty stuns McCready with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McCready on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Kruty drops McCready with a beautiful combination! McCready stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kruty is looking for the KO!

It looks like Declan McCready has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kruty darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! McCready's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Kruty before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
