Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vito Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertit comes into the arena with Riot blaring out of the sound system. Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Born To Win. Vito Fertit had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Ryan Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertit throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fertit! Gracie is out on his feet! Fertit rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gracie is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gracie is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vito Fertit!
