The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNaughton fails with an attempt to clinch.
McNaughton closes the distance and clinches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
McNaughton wants to take the fight to the mat but Drake manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Drake goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
McNaughton pushes off an throws an elbow but Drake leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Drake breaks from the clinch.
Drake throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oooooh!!! Drake has knocked McNaughton down with a huge combo! Drake steps away and waves a wobbly McNaughton back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Godfrey McNaughton has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drake lands a big uppercut and McNaughton crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McNaughton looks OK. Drake waves McNaughton back to his feet!
McNaughton is rocked!
Drake throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McNaughton.
McNaughton is still on wobbly legs! Can Drake finish him?
Drake scores with a shot to the body.
Drake closes the distance and clinches.
McNaughton seems to have recovered his senses.
Drake is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Drake lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McNaughton backwards.
Drake stalling in the clinch.
Drake pushes off an throws an elbow but McNaughton leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Drake is pressed up against the cage. McNaughton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Drake down to the mat. Drake avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Albert Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Godfrey McNaughton.
Drake misses with a double jab.

Drake wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
McNaughton looks gassed!
Drake lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Drake darts in and clinches McNaughton up against the cage.
McNaughton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Drake walks away with a smile on his face. McNaughton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Drake moves into the clinch.
Drake lands with a right to the head.
A short uppercut from Drake.
Drake lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Drake.
Drake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Are you kidding me?! Drake ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent McNaughton clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Albert Drake!
A relieved looking Albert Drake thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
