Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vlad Fresh!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fresh dips to his left and cracks Archer with an uppercut!
The fighters circle momentarily. Fresh darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fresh works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Archer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fresh's waist but Fresh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Archer off to one side.
Fresh swinging wildly here.

Archer drives through with a takedown into Fresh's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Archer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Archer postures up in Fresh's guard and throws a big left but Fresh blocks it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fresh can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fresh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Archer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Archer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Archer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fresh's head.
Archer forces his way into half guard.
Fresh on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Archer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Fresh is trying to maintain the position but Archer is very close to passing his half guard.
Archer is nestled in close to Fresh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Archer is trying to work for a kimura but Fresh is defending well.
Archer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Archer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Fresh jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Fresh tries to sprawl but Archer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Archer looks to score some points with some ground and pound.


Fresh is rocked!
Archer is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Fresh is hurt! He's hurt bad - Archer fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Fresh from any more punishment! Congratulations to Archer! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Archer!
Aaron Archer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
