Lazer has chosen Major Lazer - Pon De Floor as his entrance music. Samuel Adams could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Major Lazer's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams is looking to clinch.
Lazer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lazer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Adams napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lazer throws a strike aimed at the side of Adams's head but Adams avoids it well.
Adams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lazer on the ground.
Lazer cracks Adams with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Adams is not content to let Lazer control the position.
Adams avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lazer.

Lazer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lazer is looking to take a break and control but Adams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Adams is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams is working hard here to advance position.

Lazer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Adams, who protects the arm well.
Adams can't do much from the bottom here.

Lazer has hold of Adams's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Adams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lazer cranks the arm and Adams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Adams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
