Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zach Fletcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pranang Krampuk!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krampuk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Some wild striking there from Fletcher.
Fletcher wants to clinch.
Krampuk scores with a head kick. Fletcher tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fletcher throws a series of punches but Krampuk avoids them all with ease.
Krampuk lands a glancing blow to the side of Fletcher's head.
Krampuk throws a head kick that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fletcher crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Krampuk - the referee stops the clock and Fletcher gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Krampuk. Fletcher manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fletcher is breathing heavily.
Fletcher chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Krampuk can pounce on him.
That kick from Krampuk tenderised Fletcher's leg. Fletcher is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pranang Krampuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krampuk scores with a head kick.
Fletcher on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Krampuk. Krampuk obviously looking to wear him down.
Fletcher takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Krampuk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Krampuk lands a big head kick that sends Fletcher tumbling to the mat! Krampuk takes a step backwards and waves Fletcher back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Krampuk throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Fletcher is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pranang Krampuk!
