The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Richards misses.
Richards moves forwards but Rosario connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A big right from Richards misses.
A thudding body kick lands there by Richards!
Richards falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rosario counters with a three punch combo that has Richards backing up. Richards nods at Rosario to acknowledge the strikes.
Richards pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rosario back to the cage. Richards follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Richards throws a looping overhand right but Rosario ducks down to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rosario throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rosario misses with a straight left.
Richards connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rosario's hands.
Richards shoots for a double leg takedown but Rosario sprawls well. He's pushed Richards's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Richards gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rosario takes one on the button.
Rosario moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Rosario on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Richards scores with a jab to the body.
Richards looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Richards misses with a looping right.
Richards shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Richards thows a huge punch but Rosario dodges it nicely.
Rosario tries to get to full guard but Richards has control of the leg.
