Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koni Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes into the arena with Freaky Girl blaring out of the sound system. Koni Maximus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus fails with the takedown

and King counters with a nice double leg into side control. Maximus won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

King cracks Maximus with a big right hand but Maximus just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Maximus is rocked!
King scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Maximus to see if he's OK.
Maximus is still in real trouble! Can King finish him?
Maximus tries to improve position but can't.
King lands a strong strike to the head of Maximus. That's dazed him! King looking to finish here. Maximus is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - King lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

After the fight, Jason King was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
