Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merrimac Mjolnir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mjolnir cracks Rose with a big right hand and Rose goes down!

It looks like Hunter Rose has been cut.
Mjolnir trying to control but Rose is working from the bottom.
Mjolnir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mjolnir prevents Rose from getting back to his feet.
Mjolnir stays in close to Rose's body and controls the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rose is trying to control the position but Mjolnir postures up.
Mjolnir slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Mjolnir has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Rose not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rose could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rose is looking for a triangle but Mjolnir pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mjolnir wanted to stand there but Rose had control of the position.

Mjolnir gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rose will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mjolnir.
Rose is breathing heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mjolnir, as that shot connected.
Rose chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mjolnir can pounce on him.
Rose tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mjolnir throws a head kick but Rose moves out of range.
Rose blocks a head kick by Mjolnir.
Mjolnir fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mjolnir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rose manages to avoid it.

Mjolnir misses with an uppercut.
Rose swats away the attempt to clinch by Mjolnir.
Mjolnir throws a sloppy head kick and Rose moves out of range easily.
Mjolnir throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mjolnir throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Mjolnir scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rose closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mjolnir circles away.
Merrimac Mjolnir is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mjolnir lands with an overhand left.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mjolnir.
Merrimac Mjolnir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mjolnir feints and then cracks Rose's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rose down.

Mjolnir throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mjolnir is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Rose shoots in but no luck this time.

Mjolnir tries to score with a low kick but Rose moves his leg out of the way.
Rose shoots in for a double leg but Mjolnir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mjolnir fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rose is out of range.
Mjolnir throws the kick towards the body but Rose avoids it.

Mjolnir connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Rose to the floor! Mjolnir dives in looking for the finish!

Rose is rocked!

Hunter Rose's cut is getting worse.
Rose wants to control but Mjolnir is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mjolnir stops Rose from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Merrimac Mjolnir dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hunter Rose's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Rose closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mjolnir circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mjolnir looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rose shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Mjolnir. No joy for Rose on that attempt.

Mjolnir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rose paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rose looks to land a right hand but Mjolnir moved out of range.

Mjolnir throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Rose crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
