Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Macca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Macca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Valentine!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macca fails with a takedown attempt.

Valentine shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Valentine stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Macca to get to his feet.
Macca circles away from the clinch attempt.
Macca shoots in for a double leg but Valentine sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Macca fails with the takedown.

Macca has his foot on Valentine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Valentine works his way back into a safe position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Valentine was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Valentine will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Valentine gets a clinch.
Valentine tries to pull guard but Macca forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Valentine swings wildly with an uppercut but Macca uses good head movement to avoid it.
Macca really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Macca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Valentine takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Macca will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Valentine misses with a takedown attempt - Macca sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Valentine gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Macca slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Valentine stands and steps away. Macca gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Macca throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Valentine stuns Macca with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Macca displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Valentine throws out the jab.

Macca misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Valentine closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Valentine lands in his opponent's guard.
Macca not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Macca working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Valentine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Valentine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Valentine decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Macca, up you get!
Macca tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valentine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Valentine shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Macca pinned against the cage. Macca gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Valentine is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Macca off and has taken his back!

Mike Valentine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Valentine tries to score a power double leg takedown but Macca sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Valentine somewhat.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Valentine.
