Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Krutcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Krutcher might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fun Things - Savage. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Thompson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Krutcher has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Thompson closes the distance and clinches.

Thompson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
