The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wariacik throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Wariacik finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wariacik defends it easily.

Wariacik manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

Wariacik drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Wariacik off! Wariacik jumps back into Jones's guard.

Wariacik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wariacik has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
