Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saifullah Gaziev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz's entrance music is Shyne. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaziev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Diaz drives through and clinches with Gaziev against the cage.
Diaz digs a right hand underneath Gaziev's ribcage. Gaziev let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gaziev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diaz walks away with a smile on his face. Gaziev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Diaz lands with a nice body punch.
Gaziev misses with a straight left.
Diaz wants to clinch.
Diaz tries to clinch there but Gaziev circles away.

Diaz closes the distance and pushes Gaziev back into the cage.

Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
