The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams moves forwards but Hashimoto connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hashimoto looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hashimoto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hashimoto stacks Williams on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hashimoto!
