Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sione Finau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merrick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finau comes to the cage accompanied by Ninja Gaiden. Kane has chosen Blood Sugar - Pendulum as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

With a record of 20 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Merrick Kane!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finau tried to score with a low kick but Kane checks it.
Kane tries to close the distance and clinch but Finau swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Finau.
Kane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Donk. Finau catches Kane right on the button with a cross.
Kane pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Kane moves into the clinch.
Kane missing with knees to the body.
Finau scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kane throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Finau has had enough of the clinch but Kane keeps him there for the moment.
Kane lands a shoulder strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kane lands a body shot.

Finau escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kane throws a wild body kick that Finau sees coming a mile off.
Kane lands with an overhand left.

It looks like Sione Finau has been cut.
Finau scores with a nice strike.
Kane tests Finau's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Finau with a poor takedown

and Kane counters with a series of strikes that sends Finau to the canvas! Kane follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Finau is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kane landing some decent shots from guard.
Kane content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Finau keeping moving, preventing Kane from controlling successfully.
Kane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Finau is trying to keep Kane in close.
Kane pushes down on Finau's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Finau has hold of Kane's hands but Kane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Merrick Kane tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
