Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ice Lander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lander might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tribute. Hart has chosen Vertigo - U2 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart tried to score with a low kick but Lander checks it.
Lander keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lander thows a body shot but no joy.
Lander throws a sloppy head kick and Hart moves out of range easily.

It looks like Bret Hart has been cut.
Hart throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lander.

Bret Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice uppercut lands for Lander. That snapped Hart's head back.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hart. Lander does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lander is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Well, if Lander is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
