Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caco Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera swinging wildly here.
Vera stuffs the takedown attempt from Mann. Mann gets slowly back to his feet.
Vera tries a head kick but it misses.

Mann instigates a clinch.

Mann goes for a takedown attempt but Vera pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mann shoots in and drives through. Vera sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rolando Mann. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mann rushes Vera and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mann has Vera pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vera manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vera lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Vera misses with a punch to the body.
The referee is keeping an eye on Vera - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Mann keeps control of Vera as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mann is trying to drag Vera to the mat but Vera just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Vera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mann misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vera.
Vera looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mann closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vera ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mann moves away.
Vera stuns Mann with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mann tries to clinch up but Vera circles away and keeps his distance.
Vera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vera throws a one two combo.

Mann swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vera paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Caco Vera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vera lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Both fighters circling a little - Vera finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Vera misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mann.

Mann gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Vera breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Vera lands a lovely overhand right.
Vera fakes the leg kick and cracks Mann in the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vera scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mann doesn't seem bothered though.
Vera is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mann rather than just go for the knockout.
Vera lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mann gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mann maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vera could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mann has cracked it and Vera is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mann!

Rolando Mann tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
