Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Grayson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Crimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grayson's entrance music is To the Batmobile. A fine choice. Dick Grayson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to King Crimson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crimson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Crimson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crimson tries to clinch there but Grayson circles away.
Dick Grayson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grayson shoots in but Crimson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Grayson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crimson's waist but Crimson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grayson off to one side.

Crimson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Grayson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Crimson is trying to trip Grayson. He has hold of a leg but Grayson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Crimson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Grayson is looking for a triangle but Crimson pushes his legs off easily.

Grayson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Crimson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Grayson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Crimson's back instead.

Crimson wants to get back to his feet.

Grayson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Crimson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Crimson digs a right hand underneath Grayson's ribcage. Grayson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Crimson has clasped his hands together around Grayson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Crimson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grayson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Crimson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grayson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Crimson darts in and clinches Grayson up against the cage.
Grayson is working for takedown but Crimson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Crimson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Crimson stops a takedown attempt from Grayson.
Crimson is trying to maintain a safe position but Grayson gets an underhook and turns Crimson into the cage.

Grayson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crimson tries to avoid it but Grayson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crimson to the ground. Crimson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Grayson shoots in looking for a takedown. Crimson tries to sprawl out of it but Grayson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crimson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Grayson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crimson as he jumps to the side.

Grayson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Grayson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crimson is just riding it out for now. Grayson eventually gives up the hold.
Crimson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Crimson is in trouble now - Grayson has advanced to mount!
Crimson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Grayson fails to move to back control.
Crimson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Grayson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Crimson is wriggling around trying to escape.

Grayson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Crimson is now in Grayson's guard. A big mistake from Grayson there, giving up the dominant position!

Crimson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Grayson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crimson is in trouble now - Grayson has advanced to mount!

Grayson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Crimson is surviving well by controlling Grayson's body position as best he can.

Grayson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Crimson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Crimson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Grayson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Crimson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Grayson slips an arm under Crimson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Grayson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Grayson is squeezing on Crimson like an anaconda would it's prey. Crimson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
