PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Pante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Olbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olbo has chosen When We Ride on our Enemys as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olbo slips a jab and a cross from Pante.
Pante rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Olbo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pante throws a series of punches but Olbo avoids them all with ease.
Olbo scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Olbo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pante is looking to reverse the position.
Pante is pushing Olbo's head away, looking to escape. Olbo manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Olbo is working to tighten is grip on Pante's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pante has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Olbo is really squeezing tight and eventually Pante passes out! Olbo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
