Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc KroKop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Vanhood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KroKop comes to the cage accompanied by This Day We Fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanhood keeps the fight on the outside.
Vanhood looks to land a combination. KroKop sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Marc KroKop has been cut.
KroKop is looking to clinch but Vanhood is avoiding it.
KroKop moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vanhood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vanhood tries to bum rush KroKop with a series of wild strikes but KroKop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

KroKop using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Vanhood has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

KroKop is looking to control Vanhood's arms but Vanhood gets an underhook and turns him. Now KroKop has his back to the cage.

Vanhood had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. KroKop defends it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vanhood has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think KroKop should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vanhood has tightened it up now! KroKop should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
