The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houzo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lei counters with a nice right hand that sends Houzo toppling to the canvas! Houzo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lei finish him?!
It looks like Maek Houzo has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lei slaps away a takedown attempt from Houzo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Houzo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lei counters with a big right hand! Oh Houzo is in trouble here! Lei follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
