The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for King. That snapped Fenix's head back.
It looks like Marcus Fenix has been cut.
Fenix walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. King checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
King gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice sprawl there from Fenix as King shoots in.

Fenix throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King shoots in looking for a takedown. Fenix tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fenix manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fenix knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.
King is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Fenix looks calm but he's in trouble here. King gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Fenix is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! King lets go of the hold and Fenix can pop his arm back in it's socket.
