The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rapthlaka rushes Filipovic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Filipovic breaks the clinch.
Rapthlaka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Filipovic avoids it really well and circles away.
Rapthlaka goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Filipovic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rapthlaka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Filipovic is looking to take a break and control but Rapthlaka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rapthlaka sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Filipovic content to control rather than advance.
Rapthlaka makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rapthlaka.

Rapthlaka has his foot on Filipovic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Filipovic works his way back into a safe position though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Oh but Rapthlaka is tightening it up a little... Filipovic has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Filipovic reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Filipovic taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rapthlaka!
