Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Baduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutal Rapist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baduk's entrance music is Leontiev Valera - Sokrovische Chernogo Morya. A fine choice. Rapist is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Requiem for a dream. On his way into the cage it seems that Sergei Baduk has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sergei Baduk seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rapist lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Baduk gets tackled into the cage by Rapist. Rapist maintains the clinch.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rapist holds on and takes a little breather.
Baduk wants to get up but he can't break Rapist's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rapist is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Baduk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rapist to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Baduk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rapist on the side of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brutal Rapist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rapist.

Rapist closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baduk's guard.
Baduk controls Rapist momentarily but Rapist frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sergei Baduk.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rapist scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Baduk tries to kick Rapist off but Rapist keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Rapist looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Rapist is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baduk is just riding it out for now. Rapist eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rapist is controlling the pace.
Baduk is refusing to be controlled, as Rapist sits in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rapist content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brutal Rapist showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rapist looks to land a left hand but Baduk moved out of range nicely.

Baduk decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Baduk lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Baduk tries to close the distance and clinch but Rapist swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A combination from Baduk does no damage.
A telegraphed right hand from Baduk misses the target.
Rapist connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Rapist is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Sergei Baduk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Baduk gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rapist gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
